Our Gold Coast team at Transforming Gardens recently did a garden makeover in a morning, at Hope Island. The service area garden needed a revamp and a splash of colour. We achieved this by painting the white walls and adding a palette of colourful plants to bulk up the existing vegetation.
Below is a before photo of the service area prior to our garden makeover.
We achieved a more tropical theme by adding crotons, heliconias, canna lillies and a bromeliad. We reused the golden canes and repositioned them, to provide a more informal feel and provide some unity to the garden. Adding a dark colour to the walls provided a neutral foil to the garden and accentuated the plants.
This garden makeover was achieved in a morning by our team. So, be creative with those small garden spaces, they have loads of potential to provide the wow factor, with a minimum amount of input.
