Our design team at Transforming Gardens, was asked to undertake a one day makeover of a tired, unloved garden, on the Gold Coast. The property was overgrown and dark.The brief was to allow more light and create an open feeling in the garden.The inclusion of colour and a focus on plants that require low maintenance, was also a priority.

Cool crisp mornings and sunny days are evocative of this time of year, but there is still plenty to do in the winter garden. The growth is slowing down, but winter solstice is a matter of weeks away, which heralds longer days and`A reminder that spring is not far away. We gave our Bougainvillea its last haircut recently and now it is a flush of colour and adds some vibrancy to the winter garden.
